Hochul Campaign Launches New Ad on Building a Safer New York

Published: October 21, 2022

NEW YORK – Governor Hochul’s campaign today launched a new television ad, “Safe,” highlighting the governor’s strong record of protecting New Yorkers. Since taking office, public safety has been Governor Hochul’s top priority. In contrast, Lee Zeldin continues to put New Yorkers in harm’s way, opposing common sense gun safety laws and advocating for policies that would put weapons in the hands of dangerous individuals.

The ad is part of a multi-million dollar paid media campaign highlighting the governor’s efforts to keep New Yorkers safe and move our state forward.

NARRATOR: A safe walk home at night.

NARRATOR: A subway ride free of fear.

NARRATOR: A safer New York for every child.

NARRATOR: That’s what Kathy Hochul is working for as Governor.

NARRATOR: And she passed a comprehensive crime plan to make it happen.
