Westchester-Putnam Building & Construction Trades Council Endorses Governor Kathy Hochul
|NEW YORK – The Building and Construction Trades Council of Westchester and Putnam Counties today announced its endorsement of Governor Kathy Hochul, becoming the latest labor organization to back the governor’s campaign for a full term.
“It is a special honor to be endorsed by the hardworking men and women of the building and construction trades,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “Labor unions are the backbone of the middle class and a key part of securing New York’s economic future. As governor, I will always stand with our working families in the fight for good jobs with prevailing wages, more affordable healthcare, and better workplace protections for everyone.”

“Governor Kathy Hochul has always been a committed fighter on behalf of working families and union households who deserve leadership that stands in solidarity with our values. Instead of scapegoating and blaming organized labor for the state’s challenges, she believes that we are part of the solution. The governor has spent her entire career fighting for good-paying, union jobs, which strengthen the middle class and help our economy thrive.
“I am proud to offer the support of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Westchester and Putnam Counties on behalf of our membership and we wholeheartedly endorse Governor Kathy Hochul as our candidate for governor.”
