The Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association and Long Island Council of Administrators and Supervisors Endorse Kathy Hochul for Governor
|NEW YORK – The Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association (ESSAA), and the Long Island Council of Administrators and Supervisors (CAS) endorsed Governor Kathy Hochul for a full term. The ESSAA and CAS praised Governor Hochul’s strong commitment to public education and efforts to address the needs of school administrators throughout the pandemic.
ESSAA represents more than 3,000 members in the Capital Region, downstate, and across western New York in approximately 200 school districts. CAS is the largest professional organization under ESSAA and represents nearly 1,500 active members on Long Island. CAS members represent more than 75 K-12 school districts in Nassau and Suffolk County.
“I am grateful to earn the endorsement of the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association and the Long Island Council of Administrators and Supervisors, which represent the school administrators working day in and day out for our students as we continue to meet the challenges of this pandemic,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “The hardworking members of ESSAA and CAS continue to ensure our education communities stay on track and have been tremendous partners in keeping our schools open for full-time, in-person instruction.”
