NEW YORK – The Council of School Supervisors and Administrators (CSA) today endorsed Governor Kathy Hochul for a full term. CSA applauded Governor Hochul’s commitment to public education and her efforts to meet the needs of principals and administrators throughout the pandemic.

CSA represents 6,100 principals, assistant principals, supervisors, and education administrators who work in New York City public schools; and 200 directors and assistant directors in city-subsidized centers for early childhood education.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of CSA whose advocacy on behalf of New York City school leaders has been critical to achieving safe working conditions for educational professionals and students alike,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “By working together, we are keeping our schools open for full-time in-person instruction, addressing learning loss, and making smart investments to ensure every child has access to a high-quality education.”

“I am pleased to announce that the Council of School Supervisors and
Administrators’ Executive Board has voted to endorse Governor Kathy Hochul’s candidacy for the Primary Election,” said CSA President Mark Cannizzaro. “We thank the Governor for her steadfast support of CSA and her hard work to improve education in New York.”
