NEW YORK – In response to Lee Zeldin headlining a fundraiser with disgraced former president Donald Trump, Hochul campaign manager Brian Lenzmeier released the following statement:

“No matter the scandal or investigation, Lee Zeldin has remained Donald Trump’s right-hand man, kissing the ring to fundraise off of the disgraced former president. Zeldin and Trump have a long history of supporting each other, whether it is through attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results, or loyalties to far-right extremist groups involved in the deadly January 6th insurrection. No matter how egregious, Zeldin continues to shamelessly support Trump’s far-right MAGA agenda every step of the way.
