“It’s an honor to earn the endorsement of the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association, whose hard working members keep New York safe,” said Governor Hochul. “Since taking office, I’ve been focused on building trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve and am proud of the progress we have made. I look forward to working alongside the men and women of the Port Authority Police to strengthen public safety in our trains, tunnels, bridges and more, building a safer New York for all.”

“Ensuring our officers have the resources they need to serve their communities is critical to keeping New Yorkers safe, and Governor Hochul has delivered those results,” said Port Authority PBA President Frank Conti. “From keeping dangerous weapons off of public transit to reducing crime, the governor has a proven record of fighting for the needs of law enforcement and protecting New Yorkers. We look forward to working with Governor Hochul to enhance the safety and security of the traveling public, and we commend her commitment to working class New Yorkers.”
