NEW YORK – The New York State Pipe Trades Association today endorsed Governor Kathy Hochul for a full term in office. The NYS Pipe Trades Association represents 25,000 members from all corners of New York State, who perform plumbing, heating, cooling and sprinkler installations in the construction and service segments of the pipefitting industry.

“New York State runs on worker power and union power,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “I will always support hard-working New Yorkers and ensure they have safe working conditions, fair wages, and collective bargaining power as they move our state forward. I am thrilled to accept this endorsement.”

“New York has a hard-working governor in Kathy Hochul who is fighting to protect hard-working union jobs,” said Greg Lancette, President of the New York State Pipe Trades Association. “Governor Hochul’s vision for stronger infrastructure to support job creation has been consistently matched by her actions to invest in real policies and programs that bolster the middle class. This includes ensuring prevailing wage and project labor agreements are in place to improve the condition of all workers. It’s why the New York State Pipe Trades is so proud to endorse Governor Kathy Hochul.”

“The United Association stands shoulder to shoulder with the NYS Pipe Trades in endorsing Governor Kathy Hochul for a full term in office,” said John Murphy, International Representative in New York State for the United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Sprinklerfitters. “Governor Hochul understands the need for clean energy and clean water as we rebuild New York’s infrastructure and the urgency to keep good union jobs in-state. She has advanced bold plans to rebuild New York as well as embraced new ideas that keep workers first. We look forward to working with Governor Hochul in her next term in office.”
