ICYMI: New York State United Teachers Endorses Kathy Hochul for Governor

NYSUT Endorsement of Governor Hochul is the Union’s First Endorsement of a Gubernatorial Candidate since 2006

NEW YORK – New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) endorsed Governor Kathy Hochul for a full term, citing her strong commitment to public education and addressing the needs of students, teachers, and schools amid the pandemic.

New York State United Teachers endorsement of Governor Hochul is the union’s first endorsement of a gubernatorial candidate since 2006. NYSUT is a statewide union with more than 600,000 members in education, human services and health care.
