NEW YORK – Governor Hochul’s campaign today released a new television ad highlighting Lee Zeldin’s long-standing support for disgraced former president Donald Trump. The ad, “What He Did,” draws attention to Zeldin’s vote to overturn the 2020 presidential election and his proud status as one of Trump’s strongest allies.
Lee Zeldin has stood in lockstep with Donald Trump since day one, and Trump has returned the favor by formally endorsing him. As recently as last night’s debate, Zeldin doubled down on his vote to overturn the 2020 election results and refused to denounce the former president. If elected, Zeldin has made it clear that he will adopt the same malicious, anti-democratic playbook Trump has weaponized for years.
