|NEW YORK – Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey, Governor Ned Lamont of Connecticut, and Governor Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania today announced their endorsement of Governor Kathy Hochul’s campaign for a full term.
“It is a tremendous honor to receive the endorsement of my fellow governors,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “Whether it’s a coordinated response to the pandemic or a comprehensive strategy to prevent gun violence, our impact is greater when we tackle the tough issues we face not only as individual states but as a region. I thank each of these leaders for their support and continued partnership.”
“Since taking office, Governor Hochul has hit the ground running to deliver immediate results and ensure New York State government works for every family,” said New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. “From issues ranging from coordinating public health measures to moving the Gateway Program forward to combating gun violence, she’s always worked collaboratively and put progress over politics. I know we have a strong and capable partner in Governor Hochul, which is why I’m eager to endorse her for a full term as governor of New York.”
“During Governor Kathy Hochul’s first several months in office, she has already proven herself to be a great partner and a dedicated and effective leader,” said Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont. “Throughout her career, at the local level and as a member of Congress, Governor Hochul has delivered results on behalf of working families and never backs down from making tough choices. That’s why I’m proud to endorse the Governor’s candidacy for a full term.”
“Governor Kathy Hochul has set a new tone for New York State, prioritizing forward-looking policies and ushering in a new era of collaboration,” said Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf. “Since day one in office, Governor Hochul has been dedicated to getting the job done, moving our region forward, and taking bold steps to build a brighter future.
