Capital Region Mayors Endorse Governor Kathy Hochul’s Campaign
|NEW YORK, NY – Seven current and former Capital Region mayors today announced their endorsement of Governor Kathy Hochul’s campaign. The mayors touted Governor Hochul’s strong track record of accomplishments during her first 100 days in office, willingness to work collaboratively with local governments, and commitment to solving issues impacting communities throughout New York.
Last week, Governor Hochul received the endorsement of five assemblymembers who represent upstate districts and nine officials in Rockland and Westchester counties.
“It is an honor to receive endorsements from this distinguished group of leaders from our Capital Region who exemplify good government and what it means to stand up for community values,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “In my time as governor, I have taken great pride in working collaboratively with local officials to move our state in a new direction and deliver results. While we’ve made great strides, I look forward to building on our progress to create a brighter, safer, and more prosperous future for every New Yorker.”
