1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East Endorses Governor Kathy Hochul And Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado

NEW YORK – 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East today endorsed Governor Kathy Hochul and Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado for a full term. As the largest healthcare union in the nation, 1199SEIU represents more than 450,000 members throughout Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Florida, and Washington DC.

Union leadership applauded Governor Hochul’s pandemic response, historic investments in New York’s healthcare industry, and focus on increasing wages, guaranteeing worker protections in healthcare and protecting abortion rights.
