​​Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter Endorses Governor Kathy Hochul and Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado

NEW YORK – The Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter today announced its endorsement of Governor Kathy Hochul and Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado for a full term. The Sierra Club is America’s largest grassroots environmental organization that focuses on advocating for sustainable policies and building a greener future for generations to come.

The Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter praised Governor Hochul and Lieutenant Governor Delgado’s commitment to investing in clean energy sources and focusing on fighting back against the impacts of climate change.

“We’ve experienced the climate crisis firsthand in New York, so when it comes to protecting the environment and investing in renewable energy sources, we don’t follow — we lead,” said Governor Kathy Hochul. “I am honored to earn the endorsement of the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter and I look forward to our continued partnership in protecting the environment and investing in a sustainable future for our state.”

“Climate change is happening now and we’re responding now,” said Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado. “Governor Hochul and I are proud to ensure New York is leading the nation when it comes to passing sustainable, environmentally friendly policies. I’m thrilled to receive this endorsement from the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter and eager to continue working together for a greener future.”
