Hochul Campaign Statement on Lee Zeldin Doubling Down in Support of Arming Teachers in the Classroom

NEW YORK – In response to Lee Zeldin doubling down today on arming teachers in the classroom, Hochul Campaign Spokesman Jerrel Harvey released the following statement:

“Lee Zeldin wants New Yorkers to believe that we can protect our children from gun violence by arming teachers and bringing more guns into our classrooms. Not only are Lee Zeldin’s positions extreme and dangerous, but it’s also clear that he has no serious plan beyond giving everyone a gun. Lee Zeldin cannot be trusted to keep New Yorkers safe.”
